Uyuni Salt Flats – Tour 3 days

Uyuni Salt Flats are the largest salt flat in the world and home to one of the most unique landscapes on earth. Experience the many colored lagoons. the peculiar volcanic rock formations, the geysers, the strange nature in the cactus island, and, take a bath in the natural hot springs

Important note: all tours and activities enabled to purchase can be scheduled until the day prior to the activity and will be confirmed via email to send the important details of the activity.
Minimum of passengers for the tour or activity: 1 person.


The town of Uyuni is a very cold place (located at 3669 m.a.s.l) where the 1,2,3 and 4 days journey begins. There are all the services you may need such as: internet, laundries, bank and emigration services, restaurants, hotels, but there are not many cars that go with better money. All tours are available with a guide in English at an extra cost.


DAY 1:
The tour starts at 10:30 am from a meeting point. From where we left in a 4×4 Jeep to visit first: the Train Cemetery, La Procesadora de Sal, Hotel de Sal and Isla del Pescado. On this island you can see giant cacti, algae fossils where you can see a spectacular type of flora and enjoy spectacular views.
The first night will be in a salt hostel (bedroom for the group)

DAY 2:
The second day of the tour, we will go through an Andean landscape, magnificent views of the Ollague volcano. Then we will appreciate some colored lagoons. We will have lunch in some of these lagoons, after having appreciated the Siloli desert. Place where you will admire colorful mountains and strange rock formations, during this tour we will see many vicuñas, vizcachas (Andean animals) Towards the end of the day we will visit the famous stone tree and the red lagoon.

DAY 3:
We left the red lagoon around 6 am. To head to the geysers, fumaroles and hot springs before having our breakfast. We continue to the green lagoon. Then we will have our lunch. Finally we will return to Uyuni, passing through some mining towns and the valley of the rocks. Approximate arrival to Uyuni at 5:30 p.m.

Cancellation Policy: Coca Travels reserves the right to cancel the tour if we believe that the circumstances could endanger the passengers, that is, civil disturbances, roadblocks or weather conditions. If Coca Travels cancels the tour, there will be a 100% refund. If the client cancels the trip due to any reason, the refunds are as follows: 24 hours or less before the tour: 0% refund. 48-24 hours before the tour: 50% refund. 48 or more hours before the tour: 100% refund. 5% credit card charges are excluded from refunds if cancellation is made on behalf of customers. In case of illness or family conditions, Coca Travels can provide a letter if necessary for insurance claims.
