Copacabana, Titicaca Lake and Sun Island – Tour 3 days

Have you ever imagined on a boat ride in the highest navigable lake in the world, walking in the most important Island of a sacred lake (an area where only those who belonged to the Inca royal family were allowed to), visiting the first Inca ruins that will transport you to the past and help you understand why this Island is considered the Inca cradle?. Well, this tour was designed in order to let you undergo these and more activities. Don’t miss out.


Day 1:
Shared Tourist bus La Paz – Copacabana. We pick you up from your hotel at 07:00 am approx. ( please wait for us inside your hotel) We normally arrive to Copacabana at midday, so first we have lunch before an optional visit to the Copacabana church the yo have the lunch, you have the lunch (delicious trout from the lake available) At 01:30 pm we take our boat to the Sun Island, after 1 ½ hrs of sailing, we get to the sacred Island, here you’ll have the opportunity to walk up the Inca stairs (quite hard! but possible) and sip from the Inca healing well. Following, we will have a panoramic walk to The Pilkokaina Temple, which is considered one of the best examples of the first Inca buildings (here you will learn the close relation between two cultures: Tiwanaku and Inca).
Following, we continue the trek to our hotel (hard but worth, for the view) in the afternoon, optional walk to the west view point to see the sunset. Night accommodation and dinner included.

Day 2:
Once you enjoy your rich breakfast, we will have a panoramic walk to The Inca labyrinth and Sacred Rock ruins, which are considered as the Inca roots (you will learn why) next we have lunch on the port to then take the boat back to Copacabana where we will spend the 2nd night.

Day 3:
Now it’s time to visit Copacabana its Church and market to learn a little bit of Bolivian traditions. Then, we visit the Inca Gallows and The Calvary (view point) At 13:30 a tourist bus will take us back to La Paz , arriving at 17:30 approximately. The guide will go with you to your hotel. And we finish our service.
